ASUS Transformer brings Android Honeycomb 3.2 update

ASUS gets Android 3.2 Honeycomb update to its ASUS Eee Pad Transformer tablet. Asus announced via Twitter about the Honeycomb 3.2 update to its tablet on July 28.

Android Honeycomb 3.2 brings some minor changes and apart from that there is not much difference from Honeycomb 3.1 released in June this year. Asus Transformer has emerged as the only Android tablet with a plug-in keyboard.

Android tablets grab 30% of the market

 

Android tablets now accounts for 30% of the market’s sales, according to a new report from market research firm, Strategy Analytics. The fast-selling Android Honeycomb tablet, Asus Transformer has just started pushing the sales vigorously shipping over 400,000 tablets a month. What’s more that it is still cheaper than iPad at $100 only. A number of Android tablets was released during the not so distant past  includes Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Acer Iconia Tab A500, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and HTC Flyer/View 4G.
