Google set to launch video-calling on Gmail Android app

Google is set to provide video calling feature on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread using GMail which will be announced at Google I/O in the Android developer conference to be held in San Francisco next month. This was stated by a Twitter user supposed to work with Samsung tweeting "Just had a video call using GMail on Nexus S. Impressive quality @googlenexus Gingerbread 2.3.4 #io2011." With this feature, users running Android GMail app can make Video calls through Desktop PC and also other mobiles using GMail.



Android 2.3/3.0 update to Gingerbread expected features


Google is set to release Android version 2.3/3.0, dubbed Gingerbread, and the smartphone is headed to the developer Nexus One soon.
